A Non-Labor Intensive Saturday

We went to Target to get me a new backpack for work; my old one was really getting worn out. Then we went to Costco to stock up on essentials (like Swedka vodka, only $18 for the big 1.75L size!). They had these big, cuddly, 53" teddy bears. Only 30 bucks!! i was messing with Matt that he would never take his place (even though he's only slightly shorter than Matt!), but wasn't actually going to buy it. At the last minute, Matt sent me back to get him. It was worth it to see the look on all the little kids' faces. i belted him into the backseat to go home and as this one SUV passed us on the freeway, you could see a little girl in the backseat pointing and mouthing "ted-dy-bearrrrr..." Priceless!

"woofer, that is NOT our cart!" Well, it IS full of booze...an easy mistake.

There was a "Bears in Work Wear" party at the bar. i dressed as butch as i could. LOL! Mike and Joey, a couple of opera singer friends from Chicago were in town for the weekend. Ain't they cute? It was great to meet Mike and hang out with these cuddly cuties. Matt plays "the Spirit of the American Worker"... a good excuse to wear those cute new Converse that he'd been searching for for the past few years.
