Oil & Lube - Pt 1
The ancient tranny in the wooferJeep (no, i'm not talking about Matthew - ba-BOOM!!) has started crunching. When i go to take off in first gear (and sometimes in second or reverse) it seems like it'll slip out of gear or, well, crunch. This old thing has more leaks than the Titanic so i was wondering if my gear oil had leaked too low. And who knows when the last time it had everything changed. So off i went. It crunched on me again on Saturday afternoon. i'm not sure what to do now. i guess the first step is to save up that $2000 that the mechanic says it'll take to get it ready to pass inspection. Too bad the tags expired in May...
