The Second Half Of Saturday And Everything In-Between
Was here for pretty much the whole afternoon and into the evening. A lot of it was waiting on things to run and things to happen. A few moments of "OH SHIT!" excitement followed by long stretches of "is it through yet?"Ah yes, the glamourous life of a tech consultant.
It finally wrapped up - successfully - about 7 or so, so i went off to Dinkytown to get some food. Wound up with some not-so-great chinese. i did not choose wisely. On the way back i passed one of these "pedal pubs" going down the street. Basically, you get your friends to rally 'round the bar for some beer. But you gotta keep pedaling to keep the damn thing going! Looks like fun...especially towards the end!
That evening i went down to the Eagle to meet up with Mike/rubbear and Nick. Mike let me try on his rubber top. ah...fond memories. i haven't played around with any rubber since Daddy Ed passed away. i always thought it was more His thing than mine, but once i had that top back on, i was right back there. i guess i was wrong. i think i have more adventures ahead of me. Thank You, Mike, for taking me there.
