Questions2010: "Sing Your Life"
while we were waiting for a table for lunch, i went across the street to Vintage Vinyl. i wasn't really in the mood to buy anything, just killing time. i started running the used record racks. Man, what memories that brought back. i had to leave to keep from crying. So many years ago.
Which brings me to finally answering one of the questions i've been asked for QuestionMonth2010. arktos62 asked me:
"Which song sums up your life so far?"
There have been so many songs through the years and so many that mean so much that they can bring me to tears. i've written about them in these many pages. But the one that kinda does it for me is Ingrid Michaelson's "The Way i Am". It's so simple. i'll do all i can to make others happy. All i ask that i be accepted the way i am. i couldn't do that for years. Now i can.
