A rather non-descript day in my non-descript office. The only event of note was a call from the equipment coordinator (best title i could come up with) from the Sleep Doctor's office. You'll be happy to know that i have been able to avoid the dreaded Apria. They will be at my home on Friday at 3 to deliver my machine and set me up.
i tried to work it where i could get one machine with each of my health insurance plans, but that didn't work out. But as it turns out, with my main insurance, i have a $200 deductable and then another 15% on top of that. So the second insurance will pick up all that. Then they will sell me a used Respironics M-Series for about $260. The nurse will have it with her and i can take a look. 3 more days.
Oh, and i lost my camera on the way home. i took the picture below in the parking lot as i left the office being surprised that it had snowed a little. Then i stopped for some fake asian food, again for a six-pack and then headed back to the hotel. As i got out and started pulling everything together, i noticed that my camera/g'pod were no longer in my coat pocket with my gloves. i tore everything apart looking for it and finally resigned myself that it wasn't there. So throw everything back in the car and head up the road. Not at the restaurant - as my food got colder and colder in the car even though it was sitting next to the heater vent - and then off to the liquor store. i went in and talked to the little asian man at the counter. Not 20 minutes earlier, we had a brief interaction as he and his buddy the cop talked me into trying a shot of horseradish vodka. Even with the pickle chaser, it was disgusting and they got a laugh at my reaction. So i was at this side of the counter near the entrance to do the shot, i perused the beer, ran my card and left and...wait. There on the floor in the entry door. The g'pod was actually keeping the door open a crack. i am such an idiot.
