The Harder They Fall
Damn, what a week. i tried to find a little fun where i could, but there was not much to be had. You know that pic of me watching the snowstorm at 5am? Well, right after that pic was taken, the camera fell and the lens got knocked off track. i got it back on...whew! i didn't want to lose another one so damn quick. But damn, these things are fragile. Sure, i've got the "woofer-proof" version, but it doesn't have the mega-wide angle lens!! Gotta have!
So i was on the flight home. i've finally started using the DVD-player that Matt got my for my birthday. i wanted to get a shot of it (i'm running out of "pic-o'-the'day" ideas) and the flight wasn't so crowded so i clamped the g'pod on the seat across the aisle. It took the picture. Then fell to the floor. i don't have to tell you what happened next.
Matt could tell i was upset. "A woofer without his camera is not a happy woofer." Sure, he said, i had my other one, but it wasn't this one. He knows me too well, eh? So while i worked today, he went down CostCo. Since this was a replacement, i hadn't taken anything out of the box other than the camera. And guess what? They replaced it! Not only that, the price had come down in the last 60 days, so i got a refund!! BONUS! See? That's why we love CostCo. Only $160 (tax included) for the FX-37!!! So all you guys who keep saying, "damn, woofer, those are cool pics, how do you get them?", here's your chance. i don't do a whole lot of processing...i just set up my little Lumix on the g'pod and let him go. Turn off your flash...you'll thank me for that tip. WOOF!!
