Monday With Wi-Fi Included
Google has gifted folks at Lambert-St Louis with a month of free Wi-Fi. Of course, there aren't that many folks in adn out of Lambert these days. i noticed that they aren't offering it at busier places like MSP. Anybody see it anywhere else? No matter...thanks, Google. Happy Holidays!
It wasn't too bad getting back into things yesterday. Everybody knows what needs to get done by the holiday break and we're moving towards it. We're in better shape than most. i think i'm trying to distance myself from my phone. At lunch yesterday, i went looking for my phone and then thought i'd left it up at my desk. When we all went back upstairs, i didn't see it laying there. i went back downstairs, retracing my steps, to see if i could find it, asking security and the woofy chubby hipster who works the register at the cafeteria. We kinda flirt with each other, but is he just being nice or ...? But i digress. i went back upstairs and went to move my notebook and...there it was, in the loose pages of my notes. Silly woofer. i came home (i use that so loosely...you all know it's a friggin' hotel) and ordered something from room service and got to work on some web work i needed to get done. About 11, i was getting ready for bed and went to plug in my phone. Where was it? Must be in the car. And it's getting cold out there. Throw on some shorts and a hoodie and go out and sure enough, there it was on the front seat. And Robert had called. i was wondering why i hadn't heard from Him. But it was late, too late to call. Off to bed.
