The clutch and/or transmission were going on the wooferJeep. The shop that i usually take it to...well, the main guy is doing 6 months for bogusing up smog tests and the dippy redneck that's still there is an OK tow truck driver, but not a very good mechanic. Randy told me about another shop that he's been happy with and they took a look and i decided to drop $750+ on a new transmission. Now it runs great...but the headlights are out due to a bad dimmer switch. Maybe next paycheck.
