Play Ball!
A more relaxed day at work. No major drama...WOO-HOO!! Also, they even had an ice cream social in the afternoon. Yum! And then, since i won that $100 AmEx gift card performance award last week, i got to use the corporate seats at the Metrodome and watch the Twins play the Orioles. Now granted, i'm not much of a baseball fan, but going out to a game is always fun and it's cool to see fans and stadiums in different cities. The Hubert Humphrey Metrodome is going to the scrapheap at the end of this season as they move to the new, open-air Target Field down the street. Plus, beer and hot dogs! What more could you want? The game itself wasn't that exciting and we left at the end of the 8th with the score tied 6-6. It was getting late and we all have early days. We tried unsuccessfully to find the game on the car radio, but found out later that the Twins pulled it out in the bottom of the 9th. Go Twins!
