Bear Crawl & LeatherPride
After the Bears' monthly meeting, about 18 of us went on a Bear Crawl/Poker Run to 5 other bars in the area. It was decided to have everyone wear their Hibearnation promo shirts to let the locals know about the run. We started out in Soulard at Bastille and Clem's before heading over to the Strip (or "the Grove" if you wanna get all trendy) and hit Just John, Rehab and the Bad Dog. i checked in with DJ Danny Morris at Just John, a sweet guy and one of the best mixers in town.
Rehab is kinda upscale, but not in a snooty way. They have a claw machine...that has sex toys in it! Bad Dog had all the charm of your high school buddy's parents' basement. Of course, i'm sure some of you have fond memories of your high school buddy's parents' basements, but that's another story.
i beat Robert and Randy in shufflebowling. After the run (i wound up with a pair of 7's, Q high...FAIL), we went back to JJ's for LeatherPride Night. It was good to be home.
