Just Like Monday...Only A Different Day In A Different City
Tuesday came early like most weekday mornings. i did my best to keep quiet so Matt & Hayden could keep sleeping. They had their own journey that day. Robert, who had stayed up all night dealing with other drama, gave me a ride to the Blue Line station and sent me on my way. A train was arriving as i reached the platform and it was headed west and O'Hare was west so i got on. FAIL! Seems the Blue Line comes from the west, loops around "The Loop" (they don't call it "the Loop" for nothing) and then heads back west to O'Hare. So at the next station i swapped and made it there with no problems. Heck, the entire trip from the station to ORD through check-in, security, grab a bagel and reach the gate took 1 hr 15 min. Others were not so lucky. Once i got to Minneapolis, it was a long day at work, just like any other Monday.
