Art and Water

At The Cascades, Forest Park, St. Louis

Today i decided that kiwi59 and i needed to go to the St. Louis Art Museum to see an exhibit called "Pictorial Camera", a group of impressionistic photographs taken at the turn of the last century when photography was just being picked up by the masses after Kodak released it's first cameras in the late 1880s. The photos were stunning and to think of the things they did with the primitive methods they had puts my work to shame. Still, it was very beautiful and very inspirational. It only runs two more weeks, so if you're in town and like photography, you should check it out. Afterwards, we stopped by the Cascades, a man-made waterfall first constructed in 1902 and restored about 15 years ago. i am a total fiend for waterfalls...i love the sounds, i love to watch the water rushing across the rocks and falling through the air...i can sit and watch 'em for hours.

The rest of the afternoon was snuggletime until i got a call to come and pick up some leather stuff i had repaired that i wanted for tonight's Mr. Missouri Leather/Mr. Midwest Leather party at JJ's and to pack so i'll have it for next weekend when i stay in Chicago and put myself at the disposal of these two hot Tops. i also picked Matthew up a present which he modeled for me (after i put my padded leather blindfold on him and had him step into it). It looks great on him, but he wouldn't let me show you those pics, so i modeled it myself.

About time to go, so here are some pics for you. WOOF!
