Not Good For my Nudist Credentials
As most of you know, i love running around naked. Anytime, anywhere i can get away with it. As soon i get in the front door, off go the clothes. Fortunately, we have a lot of cool friends who understand me and don't get weirded out when i don't put anything on if they stop by. OK, so if i'm such a nudist, how do i explain this picture?
Actually, it's rather simple. i'm starting my new project this week, as you've read, and also i'm up for promotion to manager this year. Something that became glaringly apparent to me this past week is that i don't have any "manager clothes", i.e., nice long-sleeve dress shirts. i'm more of a short-sleeve kinda guy. But the manager's in the BACC don't wear short-sleeve shirts. Then again, they don't have grey hair, either. LOL! So while we were drinking entirely too much at happy hour last night, i noticed a JC Penney ad in the newspaper that Art had left laying around. It was "Appreciation Day" on Saturday and if you got there before 1pm, a whole lot of stuff was half off. Plus, there was a coupon for another 15%. So we went and started picking out a LOT of stuff, enough to warrant getting a JCP credit card for another 10% off of that! So i walked out of there with $589 worth of clothes for about $239 and change. Not too shabby. Now i have lots of really nice clothes that i can throw off the minute i get in the door!
