As much as Matthew derides the annual "Celebrity Wankfest", i'm really enjoying this year's broadcast of the Academy Awards. Of course, a couple of bottles of champagne (filtered through my east german communist crystal champagne flute) might be helping. Nobody i know likes these things. so i have to watch them alone.
i used to dream of making movies and being a part of this. Now i'm a mid-century office drone and the dream is long dead.
