Curtain Call
The system at work continued to act crazy yesterday. It'll continue to act crazy. i'd like to call in gay, but being a consultant is not like having a "real" job. Maybe i've just got residual military paranoia. No matter. i have to go to a work holiday party this evening. i hate going to parties with straight people. That i work with. Who are yuppies. i had to do an ethics training thing and it talked about people making disparaging remarks about old fuckers who join the team. Like me. Weird. But if i want to get promoted next year, i guess i have to play along. If i want to get promoted.
Meanwhile, my husband is as crazy as me. Of course, i was crazy enough to let him talk me into it. Just reinforces why Lil' Matt/directorbear likes to come visit: costumes!!! You can see his post here.
