HBN 08: Front Row Seat To The Revolution
Somehow, we got up nice and early and got downstairs for the LJ Meet-n-Greet that Matt and i had invited everyone to. Some earlybirds had made it there before us and others trickled in afterwards. No matter, we built our numbers. Even Stef/men_in_full joined us and got to meet some friends we'd only known from these pages here. As the hour progressed, we gathered our little group down in the hotel lobby and then Matt and i led a march up to the Old Courthouse for the noon rally. The Prop 8 rallies, as you know, took place across the country to fight for gay rights. It was so great to march hand-in-hand with Matthew and our friends down the streets of the slumbering midwestern town. Even the Mayor showed up! It was really magical. Afterwards, we came back to sit in on a recording of the b-TALK podcast. Fun and frivolity ensued.
