A Savage Dinner

Oct 27, 2008 06:53

i took Matthew over to the 3 Monkeys for brunch and then we went to the tubs so he could get a soak and a schwitz to clear up his sinus crud that he's been suffering with this past week. After about an hour or so, he'd had enough and turned me over to Robert for some much needed percussive maintenance. When i was delivered safe and sound to the front door some 5 hours later, Matthew said i was positively glowing and obviously got what i needed. i took him over to Crusoe's for dinner since we had a free birthday coupon we could use. While we were waiting, i realized that i hadn't read "Savage Love" to Matt this weekend like i usually do on Saturday mornings. So i got a Riverfront Times - the local alternative paper that is practically identical in every major city like the SF Guardian, the Seattle Stranger, the MPLS City Pages, etc - and read it to him there in the restaurant. There was an article about gay ettiquette in regards to a couple inviting a "third" to stay in bed all night. We agree with Dan that you shouldn't invite - nor would a deserving third accept - to stay since the couple needs to get back to their intimacy. Then again, there aren't many that we both agree on. There's no accounting for taste.
