Lay-Bear Day Beer Bust
After spending a good part of the day with Robert - more "insertable adjustment training" than "percussive maintenance" on this occassion and i'm all the better for it - we went down to the bar for the Bears' Labor Day Bear Bust. i didn't have any volunteers, so we just did it ourselves. Most of the club had been volunteering out at the gay rodeo and the rest were out of town, so there weren't many volunteers to begin with, so no matter. Robert worked the money and i enlisted Randy/redhochipe to help me do a 50/50 raffle and we raised $152 for our charity fund along with our blood alcohol levels. Matt made an appearance, but since he's still doing antibiotics from his tooth extraction last Wednesday, hanging out with a bunch of drinkers didn't really appeal to him. You "desginated drivers" will know what i mean. So he opted for an evening of "bad pizza and bad movies". Elicia's Pizza is a nasty, greasy, thin crust "St Louis-Style" pizza that totally disgusts me as do those horrendous SciFi Channel original movies that are so bad they just make Matt giggle. *sigh*...i love my husband.
