Diminishing The Impact

Embracing the late shift, i am learning to get stuff done in the mornings. The other day i did 4 loads of laundry and yesterday i met with the artist for whom i'm building our charity website. i saw some of his new works including the memorial that he has created to be erected at Camp Hope later this month. We locked down our domain, so now we just have to wait a few days for it to process.
When i got downtown, the parking garage was full to the brim and i had to park on the roof. There was only a 20% chance for a shower and that was about over and the sky was clear and blue, so i didn't bother putting the trail cover on the wooferJeep. Well, as you all know, we got a heavy - if brief - storm yesterday afternoon. When i got back to the jeep, i had lost the cardboard pass that used to hang from the mirror and there was a little puddle on the carpet on the passenger side, but the cover in the back held most of that water in and the bikini top warded off more, so it wasn't too bad. The older woman that works the evening shift at the garage and who always busts my balls trying to catch me cheating on the parking fees was on the phone gabbing and didn't know that the hanger on my mirror was from a couple of weeks ago. Bitch.
Walking to the office yesterday, i saw these rope hanging down from the roof of another downtown garage. Why they were there, i'll never know.
