Turning Red
Yesterday was another grey day, but i missed most of it. While Matt was out looking at houses with his client, i met up with Robert for a six hour session of...how you say..."percussive maintenance". i got pushed and challenged in some new ways and being challenged like this makes me feel...i don't know..."accomplished"? It's hard to explain and why bother as long as i feel better after i'm through (or "when they're through with me" might be a more accurate description) and i'm none the worse for wear and tear though perhaps a bit redder.
i met up with Lance and Matt afterwards. The stupid internet was still down at the house which was keeping Matt from doing his work,
so he went over to Lance's to play videogames for a bit. He's been playing "Bully" on the xbox and it was pretty fun watching him cause havoc at this boarding school. The coolest thing he showed us was that while you get "lifepoints" for kissing girls, you get BONUS lifepoints for kissing guys! AND, if you make out with some guy in front of one of the girls you've made out with, that girl will get all pissed off and come over and smack you (or the other boy) with the flowers you gave her! LOL!!! After that, we went and got some Vietnamese food and then home to get the damn internet up and running. Done, but not without hassles. UGH!! Fortunately, our service is pretty good and this doesn't happen too often, but they were doing some kinda system maintenance. Oh well. But MAN did i sleep well last night; all snuggled up with Mr. Wonderful.
