When "WTF?" Just Isn't Enough
WHAT THE FUCK???
OK, so there we were, coming home from our romantic pre-Valentines Day dinner at a really nice and romantic Italian restaurant and we're coming back into town on I-44 and about to get off at Kingshighway and i look up and scream "WHAT THE...???" Matt was like "what? what??" Then we looked up and saw this piece of shit!!!
Well, it turns out that those mega-douchebags from Fuck Us On The Family are coming to town for a conference on how to "prevent and treat homosexuality" on the 25th.
i guess they're doing it in this cultural backwater because they think that the ignorant sheep can badger their family members. My first instinct would be to fight, but making them "victims of those evil faggots" would only further their cause. Does protesting only serve to draw attention to them? Unfortunately, ignoring them won't make them go away. Why are they so fucking interested in us? Do they actually know that many homos??
Are they just "enemies of style and good taste"?
i really don't know what to do. Matthew and i got involved in the election process in 2004 and were really totally devistated and heartbroken at the results. And the democratic party pretty much just gives us lip service since they KNOW there's no way that we'll go to the Republicans and that the Green party is still seen as just a small bunch of environmental whackos so they'll get us by default. But have they really stood up for us? Hell, have they really stood up for ANYTHING lately??
AAGGRRRRGGGGHHHH.... fuck it. It's after 7pm and i'm still at work. i gotta get back to it and pay for my "fabulous alternative lifestyle"...
