A new Mini Cooper S Convertible. Can i afford it? No. But when i go to buy a used one, i need to remember the Sidewalk package with the cool leather seats with piping and not to buy one newer than 2008 since the door sills are higher on the new Minis. This year's convertible is still based on the old model.
The Mercedes SLK has gone from chick-car to sports car...with a requisite price increase.
A new Jeep to replace the old Jeep? With all the bars and safety shit, it's claustrophobic by comparison. Plus, do you get what you pay for and is it worth it? i'm not so sure...

The wind deflector on the BMW 650i looks like a bulletproof shield from a James Bond movie. This is Matt and NASCAR Champion, Carl Edwards. Look a bit alike? They should...they're cousins on their mom's side.
This model has a nice rear end, don't you think? (How's that for a double entendre?)
In all, the Auto Show this year was a bust. No concept cars other than a two-year-old Jeep Rescue, no really new cars to get excited about it. No one showed up, either. Recession, anyone? We did the whole thing in just over an hour. Then again, we're a backwater, so why bother, eh?
