As i wrap up my little(?) trip to Switzerland, i have to make a bit of a closeout. One of the different things is food. OK, so i ate way too many gyros, but i actually ate other things as well.


...sure, i eat the same thing every morning, but it beats what i ate/eat every morning at the SpringHill...




...i used to be able to do this...ham and cheese and garlic sauce; not your typical crepe, is it?




a Klöpli (smoked sausage...like a kyalbasa) and a beer; sometimes the simple things are all you need....sure, they use four different cheeses in the fondue, but it's still just cheese and stale bread and, as my dinner companion stated, smelled like "grandma's socks"; i can't believe i ate a half-pound or more of cheese...



cappuchino and schwarzwalderkirschtorte... the perfect thing on a long afternoon...
Now i just need my "SchniPo" (pronounced "shnEE-po" meaning "Schitzel und Pommes Frites") tomorrow and my culinary adventure will be complete.
