Trailer Tuesday: Ryan Earns a Special Ring; No, Sorry Blake, Not that Kind of Ring
[Ryan Reynolds Fan]Summer is ending in Manila but only starting in the US, so the big movies are about to get released. And though I was expecting more from June, I'm not going to complain since it's not like I'll have enough money or time or patience to actually go out and see all of them (July's looking pretty full though!). And I know I keep bringing it up, but it's already June. WHERE EXACTLY DID MAY GO?!
Green Lantern
Though I'm not very familiar with the canon behind this comic, having Ryan Reynolds as the lead definitely makes me want to check it out. Also, seeing Blake outside Gossip Girl should be pretty fun -- and as a brunette at that (and she's all covered up!). I hope it does well for Ryan. This guy deserves something good to happen. Oh and I hope there are lots of half-naked!Ryan scenes. This would make me very very happy.

Shia, there are times, when I see you're not looking you're best, but I look past them. Why? Because when you clean up, you clean up real good. And even if this is the third installment (and I'm not sure what exactly is going on anymore), you know I'll still see this even if Megan Fox isn't in it. See Shia, just shave and shower and we'll be friends again.
X-Men: First Class
I've always enjoyed the X-Men movies and this one, I feel like I'll enjoy doubly having both James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender in it. I see you very very happy jo_herself! Plus it's got Jennifer Lawrence in it and since I've only seen her in Winter's Bone, I'm excited to see her in this just so I can gauge how she'll be as Katniss.
Conan O'Brien Can't Stop
So not technically a movie-movie, it's got Coco and you know where Coco is, I am there. I wish I got to watch his comedy tour in the US last summer but since that's long past, at least we get the behind the scenes documentary. Conan, never stop please.
Super 8
I saw this on a list of the top ten movies to watch out for this year and though I'm not really the biggest fan of aliens and conspiracies or of little kids in the lead roles, I'm checking it out to see what all the hype is. Plus Elle Fanning was pretty adorable in Somewhere so I look forward to seeing her in more things.
The Art of Getting By
I'm not Emma Roberts biggest fan but I liked her in It's Kind of a Funny Story so this one should be pretty cute. Plus it's got Freddie Highmore (who was just adorable in Charlie and the Chocolate factory -- LOOK HOW GROWN-UP HE IS!!!) and it's set in New York and Mommy!Esme (Where's Carlisle?!)!!! I see cuteness all around in this one. Coming of age movies are always always fun to check out.
Love, Wedding, Marriage
I didn't even have to really watch the trailer of this just because it's got Mandy in it and the words, LOVE, WEDDING and MARRIAGE. This is just a quadruple win for me. Though Mandy's rom-coms are sort of hit-and-miss, it doesn't hurt to check this one out too.
Beginners
I posted this mainly because of jamypye and her love for Ewan McGregor. It's been a while since I saw Ewan in anything and I always seem to sort of enjoy watching him -- or probably watch my sister watch him. So this is a welcome return to the cinematic screen. Ewan, won't you do another comedy or musical though? I won't mind at all.
The Best and the Brightest
Neli Patrick Harris! How can you even not want to watch this? The plot is kind of crazy already but NPH as a dad trying to get his dad into pre-school just makes me want to watch him more. I wouldn't mind NPH as my dad period. It's not the usual, that's for sure, but I would have watched Beastly for NPH, so this one I'll try to find somewhere.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo
This doesn't even come out tilL December but I just had to post it. MY GOD FINCHER, you do know how to get my attention. Rooney is looking pretty bad ass and Daniel is just looking wow. I love the editing of the trailer and I'm excited to see more. Can we get a better copy please? Can it be December already?
