RAWR [
Mr. Hedlund]It's another year and another year for amazing covers and though we start with the unconventional style of
W Magazine featuring TWO covers of TWO of my favorite people, you know it's the omen of a good year up ahead.
Though I'm not really a fan of the styling, I'll take
Garrett Hedlund on the cover of anything. If it means he has to be wearing leopard print pants and a white shirt that leaves very little to my poor imagination, then so be it. And though there aren't very many outtakes, yet, I can't pout with the screen test interviews they did with both
Garrett and
Emma. Which cover is your favorite this month?

Mr. Hedlund and
Emma Stone WebEmma on reel sex: Simulation of sex is a real workout. We must have done a hundred takes. There was an oxygen tank at one point.
Garrett on the good & bad in life: A great amount of good is always evened out by a great amount of bad. I find it’s best to acknowledge that weird balance.
How lucky am I that they were both featured?! It's either someone in W Magazine loves me so much, they featured both OR I fangirl over waaaay too many people and the odds of them coming out on covers were so large. Yeah, probably the latter.

Mr. HedlundOn how easy he is to feed: I came home from school one day and the steer [that he raised for competition] was hanging from the tractor bucket. Now when somebody says, 'I saw a bird die when I was 3 years old and I don't eat meat,' I'm like, 'Are you kidding me?' I eat steak. I eat everything.
And because Disney has a SHITLOAD of money to promote TRON: Legacy, they put both Garrett and Olivia Wilde on the covers of Men's and Women's Health respectively. As if I weren't already satisfied with him looking casually HANDSOME ON THE BEACH (you know I wish he were half-naked), so instead they give us
behind-the-scenes footage of the shoot. Naked >>> BTS video, but that's alright.

Adoring Natalie PortmanOn eating: I like pleasure, I like joy. I’d never get to the point where I would starve or injure myself like Nina does. I’m the opposite-when I’m hungry, I eat, and I always make sure I’m eating something delicious. I’m tough on myself in terms of the standards I want to live up to, but that’s also part of my pleasure: knowing you are being your fullest self. Being your fullest self is a lot of work.
After the awesomeness of Black Swan, I cannot get enough of the newly-pregnant and engaged Natalie. Vogue helps feed the addiction with this photoshoot still in Black Swan mode. I love the
behind-the-scenes video as it captures Natalie gracefully moving, still very much the ballerina.

Adoring Natalie Portman and
Finding James FrancoNatalie on the pressure of the movie: There were some nights that I thought I literally was going to die. It was the first time I understood how you could get so wrapped up in a role that it could sort of take you down
James on hosting the Oscars: I was very, very, surprised and my initial reaction was ‘No.’ When we finally met and discussed it in person, all my representatives were saying, ‘No! Of course not!’ So that always sparks something in me. So I said ‘Yes, of course!’ Because that reaction that they have is based on conventional wisdom of what makes a good career. And that can be boring -really boring. If I can break that, those expectations, and get out of all that, usually it’s going to be a good thing.
And for even more Natalie love, she covers Entertainment Weekly's Oscar Race issue alongside the ever charming James Franco. I really do hope she gets not just a nomination but a win. After seeing The Kids are Alright, I'm worried Annette Benning will give her a run for her money. Natalie looked lovely in this shoot, all gold and shimmery.
On the other hand, I'm terribly worried for James and Anne, who'll be hosting the Academy Awards together. Though they can be charming and funny on their own, the Oscars are such a big deal, I'm just nervous. And I'm not even hosting it. I hope they knock the critics and naysayers.

Anne Hathaway FanOn her chemistry with
Jake: If you don’t have chemistry with Jake Gyllenhaal, then there’s probably something wrong with you, because he is the most insanely charismatic man. All you have to do is listen to him and you’re instantly charmed.
HOW BEAUTIFUL CAN THIS GIRL GET?! I loved that she
got all romantic for Vogue and now she goes a little on the androgynous side with the masculine edge to her outfits and yet showing she's all woman. I love how chocolate brown her hair is and just how sultry and sensual these photos look despite being oh so covered up.
Photos courtesy of
L-Meester.orgOn her love life: It’s wonderful to be in love. And it’s definitely wonderful to cuddle and have sex and get to experience life with somebody. But it’s OK if you don’t find him and you’re 24. You can find it someday
Also not my most favorite styling for a shoot, but Leighton pulls it off so damn well. The wet look? Yes please -- especially since she's wearing an LV raincoat. You won't see that on the street here, folks. She's so cute in the
behind-the-scenes video too! I love that she was honest about dieting but indulging once in a while.

Rachel McAdams OnlineOn not being popular in high school: I wasn’t popular at all in high school. I know that every actress says that, but I was really awkward.
Though Rachel didn't land the cover of Vogue Italia, her all-Chanel-all-the-time spread was pretty damn beautiful, she was the cover girl for me. I love how it felt so very 70s with the big hair and the sexy eye-make-up. When will I ever get to wear Chanel?
Photos courtesy of
Ashley Greene NetOn marriage: I’m indifferent about marriage. I think sometimes people get married so they can say they have that person forever. But a ring doesn’t ensure that you’ll stay together. Watch, now that I’ve said that I will be the first of my friends to get married!
I wish there were more photos to look at, but I'll take the few ones we got. Ashley covers Cosmopolitan and of course, the bombshell had to be brought out. Still not a fan of her boyfriend, but hey, I just hope they're happy together. Please listen to yourself and this marriage quote, okay?!

Carey Mulligan NetworkOn feeling sexy: I've never felt like a sexy person… I’ve always felt like a sensible person. I’ve always felt absurd wearing anything revealing.
Everytime I see Carey Mulligan, I wish my hair were short again. She and Emma Watson have made me want to go all out crazy and just chop it all off. Alas, all my years with short hair have not made me as cute as these girls. It was crazy seeing
Carey in the wig; I think the photographer made the right call to use her natural hair, because really, how can you not?! Somewhere, Shia is hitting himself on the head that he let her go.

Korean Lovers PhotoblogThis is probably in conjunction with her
recent Puma photoshoot because girl is rocking those bulky jackets again AND STILL looking so damn hot. Marie Claire Korea gave Eun Hye a spread on their December 2010 issue. Who knew sportswear and leather and the smokey eye go together so well (on editorial). Go be sexy in the hotel room with your jacket, Eun Hye. Then come make me a new KDrama with Gong Yoo please?
Photos courtesy of
Soompi ForumsI have no idea what High Cut magazine is all about, but I approve of this whole thing. Yoo is still busy promoting Finding Mr. Destiny and so we get pretty art shots of him with his legs spread wide. Though I prefer him clean shaven, this pornstache surprisingly works for him. Now go grab Eun Hye and make a drama please.

Ryan Gosling FanAnd finally, I give you some Ryan Gosling. I figured men's magazines are chocful of handsome and because I secretly crush on Gosling, it was a perfect match. I have yet to watch Blue Valentine or All Good Things but I'm sure they're awesome. Just like this photo shoot.
