The Pie Maker Will Get to Serve His Last Three Pies!

Mark your calendars, cause on May 30, June 6 and June 13, the powers that be over at ABC have finally decided to air the last three remaining episodes of my oh so beloved Pushing Daisies. At least now I know I don't have to watch the German-subbed episodes that I did download just in case ABC was cruel enough NOT to air them at all. [Televisionary via Vulture]

And so, instead, I shall fondly remember Pushing Daisies for these remaining weeks by posting things I loved about this show. One of the reasons is Kristin Chenoweth singing her heart out. Poster girl for unrequited love? I dig it.

In Season 1, when Olive sang Hopelessly Devoted To You, my inner romantic died. I totally relate to Olive on this unrequited love bit and I love this song, so this was a match made in heaven for me.

Then in season 2, Olive sang again and this time, Eternal Flame!!! My anthem!!! I swear Olive and I are the same person and she doesn't know it, because I used to sing this as a kid and I so relate to the lyrics and the way they wrote the song into the episode just broke my heart.

I don't understand why they're canceling such a great show, but I guess that's really the way it goes with my shows. So NBC, don't break my heart the way ABC broke it by canceling Pushing Daisies!!!
