I miss Mandy, there's nobody who writes me anymore!
Called this morning in response to an ad in the paper for a job with the postal service, all it said was $13-$35 an hour, no experience needed, paid training. Sounded pretty good to me even though I've never had dreams of a postal job.
Should have known and I usually feel that ads that don't give a lot of information and sound to good to be true, usually are. But my radar was turned off for this one.
Was just a deal to send me stuff to study for the Civil Service test for $94, refundable if I don't pass the test. It seemed a little suspicious and I don't really have an extra $100 to throw around but I was seeing big money in the future and I accepted.
Then my brother told me it was a scam, and after some further thought I called back and canceled.
So now its back to the drawing board.
