Read Part I of this serial before the sequel here! CCS--the S should stand for something else than Services--was using my old MediCal number. Two or so years ago my dad a MediCal card with no documentation, no explanation. He tossed it; I was not even eligible to the agency's aid then, though, for some reason, I recieved the card nonetheless. Then, last year, I recieved my new card.
Today, this morning in fact, I learned CCS--specifically whoever was entering my MediCal information into their database--used the old number. This was after my dad faxed them the new number, which they did not reference with the number that did not work. Did not even try. They assumed the issue was not with them. Of course, it was... all them.
Is that so much to ask, that people do their jobs with competence? With some decency? Apparently, in this day and age, I am asking too much.
