Embarking on the 50-Week Town Run

I'm not really sure how to sum this Pennsic up, possibly because I'm currently in the throes of serious post-War malaise. Anyway, the short version: I got to hear some spectacular music and see some classic Pennsic Highlights I'd never seen before. The Runnymead dinner went quite well overall. Nobody died during the Court of Love or our baronial court (not that I was expecting anyone to), and nobody died during Curia or EK Court (which actually seemed like a strong possibility at one point). I did not get to spend enough time with friends, I only made it to one class and two Loud Band sessions, and I have strong opinions about changing the way we organize the encampment for next year. Logistics were... challenging.

Feral baby spent most of her time tearing around camp chasing the teenagers, when she wasn't chasing other kids her age around the playground. She says her SCA name is Isabelle. :)

Details and photos of the good stuff coming in the near future...
