Back from Bardic! I was very impressed -- it was an excellent group of entrants, and there were things to be proud of about every single performance. We were treated to a wide range of entry styles: poetry, storytelling, singing, recorder and harp music, theatrical exposition on Shakespeare's immorality (!), etc. There were a lot of folks there I knew and was happy to see, so O's revamped version of the Echo and Narcissus story, opening with silly chatterbox Echo flitting from person to person babbling at them ... came right after I'd just finished bopping from pew to pew babbling at people. Timeless social commentary = timeless. :D
ubiq_31 was excellent company on the ride, kept track of me and my mug and my music stand all day, and processed into court with me when the landeds were invited to join their Majesties. He's a brave man. :)
Congratulations to
