Two whos

Who was at the Warrington Regal watching the early screening of "Stardust" last night, fair-haired and wearing a Green Lantern t-shirt?!? I'm almost positive I should know you, but I'm so bad at placing faces out of context (and by out of context I mean that as little as "in a different neighborhood or wearing different clothes from when I first met you" is enough to throw me). Anyway, whoever it was, yeah -- zgwortz and I weren't quite on with our recollections of the details from the book. I went home and looked and was then mildly embarrassed to have been expounding incorrectly to my husband and the rest of the listening crowd. Anyway, I hope that was a friendly smile you gave me and not a "You idiot, you got it all wrong" smile. I also hope you enjoyed the movie as much as we did!

Also, purely for exploratory purposes, is there anyone local who might in theory be interested in buying an only very slightly used Dutailier glide rocker plus ottoman? See, my mother snagged mine from a store that was going out of business because she knew I wanted one -- but on our most recent Babies R'Us run (oy vey, the stuff to be bought!) we discovered there's a different model that's actually more comfortable for height-challenged me. Now I'm seriously contemplating ordering the more comfortable one (which, er, I have to admit would also match our decor a bit better), but there's absolutely nothing wrong with the one I've got and I hate to be totally frivolous about it unless there's someone who'd love to take one home. If you haven't tried one, they're incredibly comfy, even if you're not pregnant or nursing! My father was seriously displeased when the time came to move mine out of their condo and to our house, and the gaming group has been known to fight over who gets the comfy chair/s if we're playing in one of the homes lucky enough to possess them. :) If you think you might be interested, what I've got is honey-colored wood with light blue cushions; the back, seat, and ottoman are cushioned but the chair arms are not. The cats have been hanging out on it intermittently for about a week now, but I would of course lint-roll it thoroughly before letting anyone pick it up. Holler if you're interested, able to pick the two pieces up, and willing to wait for just a bit until the proposed new set could be delivered.

(Oh, and in case you couldn't figure it out from this posting -- no news. The doctor says nothin' doing. Countdown to inducing has begun.)
