(no subject)
there are three things i do not like about germany
1) the different pollens. I woke up this morning feeling like someone was shutting my head in a door. i am essentially, a snot bucket. but i got some nasal spray, so maybe that will help.
2) mineralwasser. it seems impossible to get just a bottle of non-carbonate, non-mineral water here. Which, incidentally, is all i want. A nice, cold, american bottle of water. :( and i dont know if the tap water is safe to drink. where does one find that out?
3) diet coke. here, it is called coca cola light, and is supposed to be the same as diet. but it doesnt. and that makes me sad since i'm a little obsessed with diet coke in general. oh well.
other than that, munich is all sorts of great so far. besides a small mishap with my luggage not making it to munich, all is well. I'm meeting people and ogling the cute german boy who works the front desk of my place of residence. my neighbor is a 19 year old belorussian girl who doesnt speak much english, so we have this really great mishmash communication thing going. a little english, a little german, and a whole lot of hand montions.
but seeing as i have to be up early for class at 8:30, i am going to bed. seeeee ya
