Author's Notes: I saw this prompt on the Glee Kink meme and I couldn't resist it:
I was watching "I Now Pronounce You Chuck & Larry" and this idea came to my mind... Kurt ends up asking Finn to pretend to be his "boyfriend", I don't know why, do whatever you want anon... He says yes, because he wants to help his friend and all that.
So as the days pass, Finn falls in love with Kurt and wants to move forward with their relationship.
IDK I need some sexy times please :D
Okay next chapter may take a bit of waiting I'm afraid.
Many thanks to

Interestingly enough realization came in the form of Miss Rachel Berry.
It had been a lovely afternoon and Rachel who had some time off for the first time in a long time, or so she claimed. Finn expected she got a lot of free time only she chose to use most of that working. It sounded a lot like something Rachel would do. That was beside the point; anyway, Rachel had the day off so she’d called up Finn to ask him if he wanted to meet up. Only she called him early so he was half-asleep when he answered and agreed.
She knew that he was a late sleeper and that it took a while for him to fully wake up so why she called him at nine on a Friday morning he didn’t know. He’d been on the night shift the night before as well so he hadn’t even been in bed that long. When he’d complained about it to Kurt the fashionable brunet had just raised an eyebrow at him,
“I expect she knows your shifts Finn and she most certainly knows what you’re like when only half-awake. She probably called then on purpose so you wouldn’t say no,” he commented dryly.
Something about Finn going to hang out with Rachel had put Kurt on edge, he didn’t know what but he knew he’d have to make it up to the smaller brunet later. Whatever had upset him about it would probably lead to Finn having to fend for himself for the night. When Kurt got annoyed he could be more frightening than a girl at times…more frightening then Rachel and that was saying something. Oh, he shouldn’t be thinking things like that when going to meet Rachel. She’d probably somehow know he’d just thought of her not as a girl and would get all huffy with him. She wasn’t any fun when she was like that but sadly that was a lot of the time he supposed.
He met Rachel at a café in between the two of their apartment blocks, she was already there sipping at a cup of something and standing out in her baby pink outfit. He personally couldn’t see anything wrong with it but part of him knew that Kurt would despise it. Maybe it was the amount of frills on the blouse or the fact that the skirt was incredibly short and a totally wrong shade of pink to go with the top. Umm, had he just noticed that? Jesus, he was obviously spending way too much time with Kurt.
“Good morning Finn. How have you been? Sorry I haven’t been in contact, I’ve been busy. There’s an understudy position going for Wicked right now and I’ve been trying to get it. I’m sure my skills as an actress and a singer would be most needed, especially if one of the stars fell sick. Of course, I wouldn’t be able to shine most of the time but it would be something. It would be better then the little plays I’ve been doing,” Rachel greeted, rambling on as usual about her life. That girl could really talk, like she could probably talk for hour’s non-stop if someone let her. It was almost preferable really but she had asked him about himself.
“Oh, I’ve been good. Just working and hanging out with Kurt really. I’m looking for a better job, one that pays more so I can afford to go out more,” he answered. He really did want a better job and he had been trying very hard. He just hadn’t succeeded yet which kinda sucked. Rachel seemed to take interest in something else though,
“Mainly hanging out with Kurt? So you’re not dating anyone right now then? That’s such a shame, maybe we should go out properly sometime, on a date. I think it’s worth giving ‘us’ a try again.”
Oh he should have known. She was just trying to win him back again, he did like her but it just never worked out between them. Yeah, she was hot and she could sing but she could be so bossy and annoying at the same time. Not to mention clingy, he still remembered those relationship calenders.
The problem was that he wasn't quite sure how to let her down though, he might have came up with something a lot quicker if he'd known who was going to walk by next.
“Oh! It's you, Finn isn't it? Do you mind if I join you, I was just stopping in for a drink but all the tables were full.”
Looking up Finn blinked at the pretty black woman, she worked with Kurt didn't she? He'd seen her at the office when he'd gone to pick Kurt up and he remembered her popping over to pick Kurt up to go out some nights. What was her name again...Clarice!
“Umm, sure Clarice. This is Rachel Berry, she's a friend of Kurt and mine from high school. Rachel, this is Clarice, she works with Kurt,” he introduced, shuffling up the seat so the other woman could sit next to him as she put her cup of tea on the table in front of her. He assumed it would be fine and if she had no where else to sit he might as well let her. He didn't think she'd say anything that would uncover his and Kurt's fake relationship. It wasn't real so Rachel had no need to know about it after all.
Clarice was smiling brightly though as she tucked some of her sweeping bangs behind her ear, bracelets jangling against each other as reached out for her cup of tea.
“You knew them in high school. Oh I bet they were so cute together then. Were they really awkward around each other? Or did Kurt just march up to him one day and ask him out, that sounds like the sort of thing he would do,” she rambled, hands clutching her cup as she beamed at a confused looking Rachel.
“I..I'm sorry?” she asked. What was this Clarice woman going on about?
The other woman laughed quietly,
“I'm sorry, I was rambling a bit there wasn't I? I was just wondering what Finn and Kurt were like together in high school, they're so cute now and I'm assuming they must have been even cuter back when they were going through that awkward teenage stage,” she explained before she lifted her cup to her lips and sipped as Rachel just stared at her. The confusion increasing and irritation seeming to slip in,
“Excuse me? Finn isn't gay, I don't know what Kurt's been telling you but I am sorely disappointed if he has let his schoolboy crush become something so severe that he is actually having delusions that he and Finn are actually together,” she responded sharply. She wasn't that impressed, she had assumed that Kurt must have grown up some since they'd been at school together but obviously not.
The other woman didn't look impressed, good, it was obvious that she understood her annoyance.
“I would check facts before you make such statements next time Miss Berry. Kurt isn't delusional, he and Finn are dating now. Finn came and picked Kurt up from work only a few days ago with a bouquet of roses to take him out on date and it wasn't for a special occasion or anything. I assumed that you would be happy for your friends but obviously not,” Clarice retorted with an unimpressed glare before she downed the rest of her tea and turned to Finn.
“I'll see you at the party on Saturday won't I Finn?”
The brunet male nodded and she smiled as she picked up her bag and stood up to leave,
“Then I'll see you then,” she said before she left the cafe.

Kurt on the other hand was dealing with a very different situation as the interns settled around the coffee machine to take the very short break they got. Clarice as usual had gone out to get herself a decent drink and he usually went with her but he'd been waylaid but some of the other girls who apparently wanted to ask him about Finn.
As he leaned against the counter, he watched as they bantered between themselves for a moment or two before the blonde who had blatantly had a botched nose job turned to him with a far to bright smile and an eager look in her eyes.
“So, spill. What's that hot boyfriend of yours like in bed?” she asked, her busty friend nodded, leaning in as if this was going to be the most delicious piece of gossip she'd ever heard.
“I bet he's a demon in the sack,” she said with a quiet cackle. Kurt was just trying not to choke on his hot coffee. They wanted to know what Finn was like in bed...how the hell was he supposed to answer that? He'd only dreamed the answer to that and he didn't think that 'none of your business' would be an acceptable answer. He was ostracized enough in the office as it was, he didn't want to make it worse by the women thinking he was a prude.
So putting his coffee down he crossed his arms over his chest and raised an eyebrow at them.
“It's not exactly something I usually like to talk about girls. If you must know something though then he's a very caring lover. He always makes sure I'm satisfied,” he answered, letting a small smile play at his lips as he imagined how wonderful a lover Finn probably was.
He doubted that any of the girls he dated knew how lucky for her.
The two women looked at each other with matching smiles before they walked away from him and continued to talk to each other as if they hadn't just asked Kurt about his private life. What was up with that?
Girls were so strange.
*****
Trying to explain everything to Rachel wasn't easy, Finn had taken her back to his and Kurt's flat to try and keep damage control but it wasn't working so far. She still looked like she wanted to break something and that she might quite possibly try and break his face in.
That wasn't something he really wanted to happen, he quite liked his face really so he tried to sit as far away from the fuming brunette as possible.
“You told me you weren't dating anyone!” she exclaimed, glaring at Finn as he tried to avoid meeting her gaze.
“I'm not! Me and Kurt are only pretending to date, he needed to fool his pervert of a boss so he asked me to pretend to be his boyfriend,” he responded, he'd already told her that several times already. What didn't she get?! She snorted,
“You can't pretend to be someone's boyfriend Finn. Either you're dating or not and obviously you are but you didn't want to tell me. You know I'm not a homophobe and any issues you have I can ask my dads to speak to you about but you shouldn't let yourself be tricked into a relationship you really don't want...”
“What if I do want it?”
Finn had interrupted her without really thinking, he'd just wanted her to shut up but as she stared at him bug-eyed he thought over the statement he'd just made.
Kurt wasn't a bad guy to be with, he was sweet and he didn't really asked for much. He helped Finn and tried to sort out his life for him without being to bossy or assuming like Rachel was. They had fun together and he was a good looking guy. He didn't actually mind the idea of dating him, he just wasn't sure about it being public or them actually sleeping together.
Not that he'd be entirely against the sex, he had needs like all men did and his own hand could only give so much pleasure.
Looking around the apartment the brunette female sighed,
“You want to be with him Right and I suppose he does most of the housework and is there for you. In return you're there for him and try your best right,” she said, sounding weary as she eyed the man she had been crushing on since they had met in Glee club. Finn nodded, looking kind of surprised that Rachel was able to guess that all. Well he supposed it wasn't difficult and he had told her some stuff in the past. That had been ages ago when they'd first moved in together though.
“You two are like a married couple only without the sex,” she told him and she didn't seem to pleased about it. In fact she actually looked slightly queasy at the thought of them having sex.
It wasn't that off-putting was it?
Rachel sighed and got to her feet, she looked slightly miserable and Finn couldn't help but feel slightly guilty. He didn't think he'd done anything wrong but then with Rachel he never knew what to do.
“I think you need to think over what you just told me Finn and if you decide that Kurt isn't what you want, call me and we'll talk. I wish the pair of you the best of luck though.”
With those words Rachel left Finn alone in his apartment, she wasn't going to give up that easily but for now she'd let Finn decide.
She was sure he would make the best decision in the end.
