five free eBooks. Not just some random eBook from their vast collection, but recent bestsellers.

Hmm. I still love and swear by my Kindle. I hear the Nook is basically exactly the same, except it's through B&N, but this post makes me think...maybe it's not. Having to physically go to the store would be a dealbreaker for me. We don't have any B&N unless you drive an hour.
If you consider the kindle at all, e-mail me (yes, I still live!) I have a possible proposition for you. :D
And so far as I know, you can indeed download wirelessly in Canada now, just like in the US! :D

I mostly read ebooks these days, I'm actually trying to wean myself off them, I was reading one + books a day. That puts some strain on the ole eyes. Plus I was reading of my computer or my iphone.
I love the ebooks. But I think the best solution is to get a Kindle or other ebook reader, maybe an ipad if that's your thing.
