He needs to be able to do a Toph thing, because that'd be cool and it sort of makes sense. Because the first step of alchemy is analysis and he saw the Truth which means he can do the handclap need no frigging transmutation circle now. And if he can break up air, then maybe he can use it to see where someone is. And omg, he can't just stand aside useless for the rest of the series, that'd be sad. I think if Arakawa would have killed him, she would have done so by now as she's had plenty of opportunity, so if she isn't, then she's going to probably give him some sort of reason to continue and not be forced to stand at the sidelines. I hope? Arakawa is a cruel mistress. *flails*
