We have a show March 4th at the Climax Lounge with The JV Allstars, Whiskey Kiss, and Detective Jabsco. Kurt swears he won't put any flanger on the over all mix.
March 9th I guess we're doing this big DJ thing at the Curtis Street Tavern? We have a guarentee there. The first time we ever got one I think.
We're doing the Agency reunion show on April 6th at The Larimer Lounge.
We're doing the Bang Sugar Bang's sex show thinger on April 14th at The Lion's Lair (Or so Pawly say's it's gonna be a sexy show?)
We're doing the Emmas reunion show on April 29th at the Tavern.
We seem to have a following with older folk. And with really young kids. But not too good with the 20-25 crowd it seems. We're not cool enough for them I suppose. I'd rather have people who are into us go to our shows instead of people who go to socialize with a select clique the entire time.
I'll be the 1000th person to say Lisa is a fucking cool awesome chick handler ever 100%!!!
I now live next door to a jam band and Nightingale.
It's not as exciting as I thought. It's actually quite awkward...
Soon though Lisa and I think Ian from the Emmas are going to move in down the street. I was told that the party factor will be extremely high.
Avery is a nice guy. He called me super hung over / drunk today and asked how I was doing. And if there was anything I'd like to talk about or get helped out with. Such sweetness! Although it worries me that he'd ask that since there has not been any cause for alarm in a while now? Or he's just nice.
I'm growing bored of our old album... I want to make another one! I already have 50 bajillion songs.
I want a new job.
I have the rest of my stuff at our new house now.
WE HAVE A FREAKING COUCH NOW!!! :-D
Maybe a bank or cubicle? I want to do something where I can be one of the group and not be noticed or bothered.
I'm designing Janele's B-Day show fliers! As usual it's probably as close to Cat-A-Tac and Grease Machine as I'll ever get to being connected with.
Paul gave me a live DVD of one of the first Milkshakes' shows. I have to say I talk too damn much. And I stutter when I speak... And I go on. And I sound like a chipmunk mating with two hyenas. One with a tooth ache. I think it's best if I completely shut up during performances. But I was surprised to see that I'm in key. And it pretty much sounds like the record... If it was four tracked or recorded through a tape player.
Plus it includes the finished Dressy Bessy video of Electrified! It's pretty sweet... Now we're gonna do our video.
It's probably gonna be "Cookie Monster". The concept is a house party and this girl keeps trying to hook up with a guy then the guy turns out to be really wrong. Inbetween us playing for a crowd of drunkeness.
Of course you are all invited to be in it... It will be a real party / video shoot.
Either that or we'll do the Sorry Desi one.
