Question for my tech writer friends
We have had a style question come up at work, and I figured that if anyone would know, it would be you guys. For material that is intended to be printed:
Is it still proper style to place two spaces after end of sentence punctuation?
Does it matter if you are using a uniformly spaced font or a proportional spaced font
Does it matter if you are using right and left justification instead of just left justification?
What I can find on the web suggests that there is no reason to use two spaces, I'd like to know what the honest to goodness style guides say.
