It is done
The new kitchen breakfast bar/coffee bar/serving board is built. It also looks pretty decent, if I don't say so myself. I still need to wire up the outlets. Or specifically tie the outlets into the household grid via the basement, at which point the microwave can live in the microwave box that is part of it.
The surfaces need tung oil applied, but the_nita is better at that than me. Those who come to the potluck next weekend can ooh and aah then, otherwise there may be pictures, if I can ever figure out how to upload them from work. And if I take them in the first place :)
