Well, I should be moving back to salem at the beginning of Nov.I've got a room, a car, and copious musical instruments to fiddle with in my dark little basement.Hasten to the future young man, the past is waiting.
Well, at the end of oct my mom moves back which ends my babysitting contract.She is going to take over the role of baby sister and teacher which in turn gives me the freedom to pursue valuable options in my artisan future.Which is something I have to accomplish soon ,seeing as how I'm reaching that ripe old age of 25.Time grows thin and so does my little brothers patience with my preferred educational material.I.E.: Lyrical poetry,epic poems, and short stories for his literature arts. Chemistry, Physics, and advanced algebra(for his age)for the rational side of the mind,and EXHAUSTIVE vocabulary study(which is about tenth grade level).I also throw in a little arts and crafts, P.E.,home economics, and of course basic grammar studies.I think he hates me now.I have decided I really hate having to play a parent in what should be a sibling role.Yet, he proves that he can do it so I give it to him.My fundamental thought being that when mom comes down the rest will fly by with ease and he will be able to fulfill the typical seventh grader role while retaining(hopefully) the advanced skills we have worked on.Keep in mind he WANTED home school, I warned him of my technic, and he still wanted to do it.So I don't feel like too much of an ass.I just hate having to punish him for things like forgetting to feed the dogs and not doing his studying(which I probably am WAY too lenient on).So I do not regret leaving and forgetting this harsh world of parenting.Anyways, my mom is going to ask me about all of his learning material, so in a way I will still be providing his education.Just without the punishment part which I can completely live without.I think this is where i stop ranting about my issues with parenthood.
