Tess called
On Saturday, Tess called my cell phone. She said she had gotten my number from Mike. The call came completely out of the blue, since I don't know her very well. She pretty much just asked me if I was going to the dance. I said no, of course. She had to go pretty quickly. The call lasted less than three minutes, but it was pretty unexpected. I should try to talk to her about it sometime.
I had a good time with Julianne in the library today. I showed her Dawkins' Unweaving the Rainbow and said I would like her to read it once I was done rereading it. She'll be happy to, she told me. Sadly, the barrette she gave me broke, so I can't keep it on my backpack anymore. I am a little upset that it's gone, but it's just a symbol. What it stands for is still there.
