I had a ride home from work, so I headed to Chapters to meet my friend. Before picking up a chai & a I-know-I-shouldn't-have-it-but-I-wanted-it brownie, I went in hunt. Found connerybeagle's mom's (aka Doranna Durgin) Storm of Reckoning shelved almost at eye level and, on a hall display labeled "Books that are out of this world", kristenbritain's Blackveil. (Also on that display were The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Stephanie Meyer's latest & an Orson Scott Card among others.) I arrived home to find my copy of Blackveil waiting for me. (If the emails are to be believed, Storm will arrive early next week. Yes, I preordered and still didn't get them for days.)
Also while at Chapters, I managed a bit of writing. Just a small scene to set-up the story but writing nonetheless.
