Question for those who travel

I'll be flying at the end of October, early November. Right now, my choices of cities to change planes in appear to be Chicago, Houston or Dallas. I used to fly into Phoenix but there don't appear to be direct flights from here any longer.

Any thoughts about those airports? Any I should steer clear of? Might need extra time at?
