3 Films what i have seen lately!!
1. Avatar.......Went to see this at the IMAX n 3D. Not the most origional story in the world an dnot exactly oscar winning acting but certainly one of the most visually impressive films i have ever seen. Absolutely beautiful to look at and the CGI is out of this world. I did find the 3D some what distracting at first and it made me feel a little sick fir the fisrthalf hour or so but once i was used to it it was ok. Its pretty much dances with wolves with blue cat people and will certainly change the way we see movies. Plus hes thinking of doing a sequal!
2. Sherlock Holmes......A really enjoyable film. I was a little worried because it had been talked about as being such a different take on the holmes idea but whilst it was different and new it still felt like Sherlock Holmes. Both Jude Law and Downey Jr were brilliant with Downey Jr hamming up just the right amount! Well worth the watch.
3. The Wrestler....FInally got round to seeing this. I very good character driven movie with stand out performances by all the main actors. However i was alittle dissappointed by the ending and i guess becuase of all the hype i ws expecting something a littl emore. In some ways i found the extras more interesting thanthe actual film!
