Konnichiwa, minna-san! Haha! Is that right? Is it?
I doubt if you people still remember me because I haven't opened this LJ for almost 2 years now! As you know, I have this account to showcase my icons but I was bored eventually and I realized that icon-making isn't my thing. But then, I announced (see my previous post) that I will be blogging here all my KR-JP-TW dramas, movies, and artists addiction-slash-fangirling instead, but unfortunately, I didn't manage to post an entry after that. FAIL! Hahaha! Anyway, I will now try my best to revive this site, yet again.
I decided to blog because I'm currently indulging my self very well with different dramas and movies. I'm currently re-watching Witch Amusement and Dalja's Spring. And as I type now, I just finished watching Tada, Kimi Wo Aishiteru (Heavenly Forest).
Have you watch that film, minna-san? If you haven't, you now should! I totally recommend it! Here's a synopsis for the movie:
The story is about a photographer called Makoto (Tamaki Hiroshi), who travels to New York during Christmas to look for his best friend, Shizuru (Miyazaki Aoi). The two first met when Makoto attended his university entrance ceremony. Due to his inferiority complex, Makoto tends to shy away from other people but Shizuru managed to make him open up to her. Because of their friendship, Shizuru also ended up taking an interest in photography and the two often went to a forest to take pictures. Shizuru wants nothing else but to be by Makoto's side so when he started liking another girl called Miyuki (Kuroki Meisa), Shizuru decided that she too will like Miyuki and becomes her friend. One day, Makoto asked Shizuru what present she'd like to receive for her birthday. Shizuru, who wanted to enter a photography competition, had an idea to take a picture of the two of them kissing in a forest. Makoto agreed to do this and the two kissed for the very first time. Ever since that day, however, Shizuru disappears from Makoto's life.
Are you now curious? (:
I personally love everything about the film: the cast, the setting, the plot and storyline, the concept, EVERYTHING! But what I love most is that the film incorporated photography. All the images presented are really good. I've been a fan of photography ever since I discovered it. I really think photography is a very wonderful art and self-expression. I hope someday I will be able to take beautiful pictures. (: My favorite scene was when the two protagonists kissed by the river shore, beside a tree. Romantic, eh?
"It was the only kiss, the love I have ever known..."
OH! OH! Have you noticed?! The guy? He resembles Ikuta Toma! At first, I really thought it was him, but I realized Ikuta is more handsome. Hahahaha! Look at these two pics (Ikuta's on the left, Tamaki's on the right):
Do you agree? Am I right? Hahaha. :))
If you have watched the film already, share your views, and recommend other movies as well! And wish me luck with this blog, I now promise to update it as often as I can. So for now, sayonara! 'Til my next post! (:
