Thyroid yummmmmmm!
An interesting morning. Sorrry, the following is completely health related... And I feel like alittle old lady talking about this stuff, but nobody reads or cares anyways so I will go on.. full speed ahead. :)
It turns out I DO have a thyroid problem.... This is great because it could have a lot to do with my.....
irratability
irrational anger
anxiety
hives
nervousness
stummy problems
trouble sleeping
heat sensitivity
etc.etc.etc.etc.
I have some sort of goiteroo in my neck that told her right away something was up.
Also a slight tremor in my hands.
Aaaaaaand I had an abnormal EKG, but she wasn't too worried. But concerned enough to send me to a Cardiologist on Monday or Tuesday to get checked out. I have to do a stress test which involves doing some sort of activity on a treadmill. Gawd, I hate treadmills. I will fall off, for sure.
I also got blood work done. And lucky Jennifer got to be poked 3 times.
After she attempted twice in one arm, I kindly requested she move on to the other arm, which was then successful.
Theeeeeen, to top the morning off, I nearly passed out/puked while waiting for the gal to set up my appointments, and had to sit on the floor, and then they brought a stool over for me to sit on and offered me water.
The visit in all was over 900 bucks, which my insurance did not fully cover, and I am now in the hole- as far as money goes. Good ole money. The root of all evil.
I am not going to enjoy our trip to austin if none of us have moeny.
Poor little Jennifer. :)
