I Help My Mom With A Random Act Of Kindness

Dec 20, 2012 20:47

My mom belongs to a group that sometimes does Random Acts of Kindnesses (RAK) with each other. She made a little gift for M.K., and I helped her with sending it. And we heard back from the recipient.

After having a completly terrible day braving the crowds to shop and coming home to [some bad news] I came home to see the rest of the mail. I got a awesome rak from Wonton, S.P.’s kitty . I don’t have a cat of my own, but Wonton had his [sic] mom send me a tiny treasure bag. Thank you both so much. Wonton you are so great! It eased my heart and put a huge smile on my face to think that a special kitty (and his mom) was thinking of me! [Oh dear, she thinks I'm a boy cat.] I love you both!

P.S. I hung your picture up with my Christmas cards, you are so beautiful!

Hi M.K., I am so glad you like your little treasure pouch! I am so sorry you are having so many stressful things happening now. I am sending you some little purrs to help you feel better ~ ~ ~ ~ ~.

And I am so flattered you like my picture! And I am especially pleased you put it up so everyone can see how beautiful I am. Every day my mom and dad tell me how beautiful I am and how happy they are that I live with them, so I’m glad my picture can bring you some happiness too!

Dear Won-Ton,

You are very beautiful with a very special golden heart. Thank you for the purrs, I need them and am always very grateful to get them. I’m very proud to hang your picture up and tell everyone when they ask who you are and how special you (and your MOM) are. Thank you again……

P.S. maybe you should add to your Mom’s rak list for things you might enjoy for us non cat owning humans!

Hi M.K., I have been thinking about what I might enjoy.

I like mice, but I would not ask you to send me a mouse. I think you would have trouble catching one, and I’m pretty sure my mailman would not like delivering it to me. (And I am positive my mom and dad would not like one scootling around the house, either, even thought I would catch it.)

I also like chickens, but I know I cannot ask you to send me a chicken. The chicken would be very angry by the time it got here and my mom opened the box. And then there would be an angry chicken running around the house, and my mom would not be happy about that (the fact I would help her catch it wouldn’t matter).

I also like bugs; they are tasty and surprisingly juicy. But again, I would not ask you to send me a bug.

So I thought some more about what I like. And then I remembered I like chasing long strings. My mom had a long string and she tied a big knot on the end of it and dragged it around by the unknotted end, and I had lots of fun chasing it and catching and killing the knot. I think I must have killed it for good because I haven’t seen it in a long time. So a long string would be very nice, because I could chase it and catch it and kill it again.

Oh, wait, I know how you could send me a mouse! If it’s a toy mouse (nudge, wink, heh heh). I can pretend it’s real. Or a toy snake! That would be a lot more fun than playing with a real snake. I could kill it over and over and over again. That would be lots of fun for me.

PS: Thank you for the pretty Christmas card you sent me and my mom. It is very kind of you to think of us. My mom put the card on the kitchen table next to the salt shaker so I can see it when I climb onto the table (I like to inspect the table once my mom and dad are done eating).

PPS: Here are some more purrs for you. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

You are so very welcome! I hope you got as much joy as I did from little bag. I am using it to keep my rings in when my hands are too swollen for wearing them.

PS love my special purrs!
