What with the 200 acres, the ER visit, and then a trip on Sunday up to reorganize my fleamarket booth, I really had run around burnout. Monday and today have been pretty slothful as a result. Add in the heat, and all my motivation to do much of anything has gone right out the window.
I have managed to keep up with my walking and Spanish lessons, although I have switched to walking in the morning and doing the Spanish in the evening while I walk up and down the creek bed. It's pretty beastly hot for May, although I know I'm going to look back on this wistfully in a few more weeks. I am hoping for some serious rain on Thursday. The creek is the scummiest I have ever seen it. Long tendrils of green algae everywhere, and a floating scum of pollen and other debris.
My elbow seems to be doing fine. I haven't looked at it, because I don't want to disturb the butterfly strips. The swelling is way down though. I figure another couple of days and the whole mess can come off. The only problem I am having is that I never realized how many times per day you bump or rest your elbows on something. -.-
