I've watched at least part of the World Series on TV every year since I can remember. Except in 2003 when I was in England. To me, it was always something that you watch on TV -- not something that people actually go to. Or at least not someone like me. I was locking up my bike today in the parking lot of my office, and the bungee cord thingy on my panier that keeps it hooked to the rack snapped a bit and hit me in the thumb. My mom and I literally jumped up and down and screamed when Jennifer Hudson won the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress last night. If houses were closer together in my parents' neighborhood, the cops probably would have come. You won't see this in Star magazine, and it doesn't seem to be in the news yet, but apparently Richard Goodwin (aka Doris Kearns Goodwin's husband) was arrested for drunk driving after hitting a cop car.
