I went to my first Red Sox game of the season last night with my brother. I've watched at least part of the World Series on TV every year since I can remember. Except in 2003 when I was in England. To me, it was always something that you watch on TV -- not something that people actually go to. Or at least not someone like me. I'm going to the game tomorrow!!! My brother got standing room tickets in the lottery. He's making a bit of a profit off of me (I'm paying for his ticket and my ticket plus $20, a sausage, and a program), but whatever. This is once in a lifetime! I'm so psyched.

My parents did a lecture at the local library on Tuesday night about being authors. They both did an awesome job, and the audience was really into it. My mom's presentation was especially hilarious. When I was a kid, the Red Sox almost always won when I went to Fenway Park.
