I went to see Chuck Klosterman speak in Harvard Square last night with wldrpretnd. Mr. Klosterman inspired the title of my livejournal with his book of essays, Sex, Drugs, and Coco Puffs. I know that rockmarooned and slightlyoffaxis hate Chuckie K, so they would have appreciated the kid who prefaced his question by saying that he both loved and hated Klosterman's writing. I started getting Esquire (for free). I can't get away from him! His brilliant essay in the issue I'm reading talks about how he's super-qualified to analyze James Bond because he doesn't care about James Bond. Then he makes amazing observations such as "James Bond would be a bad boyfriend."

At least Journey sounds fun. Remember: If you go on a journey, you are a foreigner.

LOL. James Bond would be a bad boyfriend, but he could drive you around in fancy cars. And sometimes having a bad boyfriend can be fun. At least for a while.

Yeah, Journey was really fun, but Def Leppard sucked! We didn't even stay for the whole thing because they weren't loud enough, and it was boring.
